The Ad Astra Modeling Club is a chapter of the International Plastic Modelers Society-USA. IPMS/USA membership gives you a subscription to the IPMS/USA Journal, a magazine about model building that is written by its members. There are local, regional and national contests and shows each year to allow you to get your models out of the house where people can see and appreciate your work, and maybe win some awards.
Local chapter meetings such as our Ad Astra Modeling Club monthly meetings are a great place to meet others who share a similar interest, share ideas and techniques, and learn more about this fascinating hobby. Whether you are new to the hobby or returning to it after years away, IPMS/USA allows you to learn and grow as a modeler.
You do not need to be an IPMS/USA member to attend club meetings or enter models in shows.
